Bill Collins, current operations manager, has been with the company for over 55 years. (shown here in foreground). Bill’s first job was ‘hellboy’. This was the person who went around and gathered the lead slugs used in printing and stamp mold-making to be melted back down so they could be re-cast.

Indiana Stamp & Seal purchases Wayne Stamp Co, which was, at the time, Fort Wayne’s oldest stamp company.
Tradition meets technology. In the late 70s, Indiana Stamp installed this Compugraphic EditWrite 7500. First Computerized typesetting machine.
Installed computerizes sign engraving equipment. (Mark still works for Indiana Stamp in the United RIBtype division, and recently celebrated 45 years with the company.)
The Indiana Stamp & Seal family continues to grow. Late 80s, company picnics became the tradition.
We are invested in our community. We’ve grown up right along with it over the past 65+ years! There is so much to love about our hometown, the TRF and parade being one! One year we even got to sponsor a balloon and march in the parade. Employees still talk about how fun that was.

Oversize laser capabilities are somewhat unique. Originally we bought to engrave tombstones, but we use much more often for oversize stencils and large format engraved signage. (baseboard shot might be appropriate here or as a background shot to the engraving page. It’s just a cool shot.
